As a corporate social responsibility initiative, Jasa Sarjana Sdn Bhd recently installed its Rivex Rikeguard antimicrobial films on high-traffic staff and customer touchpoints in the premises of social enterprise Seven Tea One in Setia Alam.
The installation encompasses the main entrance door panel and handle, point-of-sale touchscreen, interior door handles, kitchen work surfaces, and freezer door handles. Seven Tea One is a social enterprise which supplies their own branded tea and baked goods, and is a recipient of the Golden Hearts Award, the number one social enterprise award in Malaysia. What sets them apart from other companies is their mission to work with and employ autistic individuals. They primarily employ school leavers with autism as well as single mothers with autistic children, and 3 of the youth under their care have recently been placed as IKEA employees.
Seven Tea One understands that autism-afflicted individuals have hyperactive minds and face sleep problems. They believe that this condition can be reversed and mitigated with high attention from parents and a positive environment where they have a chance to learn and work in fields which are suited for their unique condition, especially in fields which involve detailed, repetitive work ideal for autistic individuals. Finding optimal employment suited to the children under their care is how they pursue their mission to provide Protection, Nurture, and Employment.
With the Rivex Rikeguard film in place thanks to our professional installation staff, Seven Tea One’s surfaces now benefit from the premium protection of Rivex Rikeguard, Japan’s number one antimicrobial film, which neutralises 99.99% of viruses and bacteria upon contact. This film is widely used by Coca-Cola Japan in its vending machines and Japan Rail in their customer touchpoints, and it has been lab tested and certified according to the highest international standards by Society of International Sustaining Growth for Antimicrobial Articles (SIAA), a Japanese organisation specialising in manufacturing and testing antiviral and antibacterial agents. It has also passed laboratory tests for antibacterial effectiveness in Malaysia by SIRIM (Report No. R1248/20/B19/73).
