ICE-μ window tint films come packed with features that benefit you whether you’re commuting to work, travelling long distances or even when you’re at home.
In a controlled test, the temperature was measured over time in each vehicle, one with window film applied and one without. The outside temperature was also measured over time. It was found that there was a 10℃ to 20℃ difference in temperature between the two vehicles when the sun was strongest, thus demonstrating the high efficacy of the film in rejecting heat.
Improved Transmission of Electronic Signals
Two tests were performed to measure transmission of electronic signals through the film. In the first test, a signal strength meter was employed to directly measure the film’s transmission of electronic signals. In the second test, the transmission of cell phone signals was measured. Both tests clearly demonstrated the film’s superiority to the metal-sputtered films of other companies.
In comparisons with other types of metallic films, ICE-μ was shown to have lower reflectivity – that is, it doesn’t act like a mirror. The reduced reflectivity makes driving safer.
A corrosion test was carried out comparing ICE-μ with the metal-sputtered films of other companies. While other types of films were susceptible to corrosion when liquids such as detergent enters between the film and the glass, ICE-μ showed no signs of deterioration.
